PCB update

I got some of my newley designed PCBs and I have been testing them the last month with great success.

They have the same features as the original MiniESP3 PCB. I just optimize it to make construction more efficient so I am not always struggling to keep kits in stock.

Currently I have the most kits in stock than I ever have have.

As always, thanks for everyone’s support!

    1. This kit that i produce cannot adapt the stepper motor to the CGE mount. It is only meant for the CGE Pro.

There are others that have managed to fit a stepper motor on the CGE mount.

There are examples on the showcase of OnStep, but no kits exist and i have no interest in designing something as the modifications are extensive.

  1. I am building a harmonic drive mount made of aluminum plates. I plan to utilize NEMA 17 steppers with 100:1 planetary gears, and 100:1 NEMA 17 harmonic gearboxes..I would like pricing on the PCB kits that I have seen so that I can populate the PCB’s. I have the ability to solder the components

  2. I personally want to thank Chad for all he has done, for me especially. I purchased the cge pro conversion kit some time back. (I suffered a stroke during that time)
Now I am back in my observatory, and using the system…and it works fantastic!
I am having a little trouble with getting autoguiding to play nice together. But my polar alignment was good enough for 10 min exposures with an f7 scope.
I will continue to try and sort out why autoguiding will not go through the calibration steps. Other than that… hard wired, WiFi or Bluetooth. Makes no difference. I am just dumbfounded at how accurate this system is.
Again Chad. Thanks for all you have done for a disabled guy on a tight budget.
I was blessed with a gifted 6ft old BOYD OBSERVATORY, and also the CGE PRO was a gift from my older brother. (Auction buy)
I have been trying to sort out a rats nest of cables, but thats always been an issue, lol.
My ONLY wish is that the micro usb was a USB C. I am deathly afraid that it will go bad.
I am most likely going to fix an adaptor to it.. so as not to bend those inner wires, like all old cell phones did.
